Stepping Stones Early Learning Centre adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Early Childhood Education Center, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Our Story
Stepping Stones Early Learning Centre was founded in 2009 on the principle of providing quality childcare, while shaping young minds to be the best version of themselves. The summer of 2008 was spent searching the city for a suitable property in a suitable location. The facility on Gordon Drive, in The Mission, was chosen for its size, style, outdoor space and great location.

The property was purchased and a rezoning application was made to the City of Kelowna to ensure we become a fully functional Early Learning facility. The space was then fully renovated in early 2009, and was transformed into a completed, fully functional and self contained learning centre for up to twenty 3-5 year old children.

In 2013, we added to our existing location by creating a brand new space upstairs, which was licensed for group care. This space was designed keeping our philosophy in mind and ensuring we are providing a safe learning environment where children can prosper.

In 2023, we launched our Infant Toddler program with a purposeful enrolment of eight children. This was designed to ensure our educators are providing exceptional care for these little ones. This project was also close to our heart as our own children are enrolled in this space.
